Masoor daal 200gm
Turmeric powder 1 tsp
Dhania powder & ginger paste 1 tsp
Grated coconut 1/2 cup
Tamarind juice 3 tsp
Raw jeera 1 tsp
Salt as per taste
Dry chilli 2
Mustard oil 4 tsp
3-4 curry leaves
Refined oil 50 gm
Green chilli 4-5
How to Prepare Daal
In a pan heat enough water. Add salt, turmeric powder and daal.
Boil daal properly in low flame
Now in another pan add mustard oil.
Add dry chilli, jeera and curry leaves to it.
Stir and wait till aroma start spreading.
Then add dhania powder & ginger paste and mix them well.
Now add the boiled daal into that.
Add tamarind juice, salt and sugar as well.
Cover the pan and cook for 10 minute.
Now garnish with coconut and green chilli and serve hot.
