Paneer is a hot favourite item mostly among vegetarians (as well as non-vegetarians like me). We can make hundreds of tasty & creative recipes with paneer. Let me share a very simple one.

What do you need to make Paneer Chunks in a thick gravy

250 gms paneer cut in cubical shapes
1 big onion finely chopped
2 green chillies finely chopped
2 tomatoes finely chopped 
1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder
2 cardamoms crushed
1/2 tsp red chilli powder
1/2 tsp garam masala powder
Refined oil to fry
1/2 cup milk
1/4 cup curd
1 tsp ghee 
salt to taste
Pinch of sugar

To garnish:
2 tbsp. grated paneer
1 tbsp. chopped coriander

How to make Paneer Chunks in a thick gravy

Heat oil in a pan. 
Shallow fry the paneer cubes with little salt & turmeric powder & keep them aside.
Now in that pan add onion, cardamom and fry till the onoins turn golden brown. 
Add ginger-garlic paste, green chilli, salt & fry for 3-4 minutes.
Add tomatoes and cook for 4-5 minutes. Add curd and stir well.
Pour 1/2 cup water and cool it. 
Blend them well in a mixie.
Add little more oil in the pan , add gravy and red chilli powder, garam masala powder, pinch of sugar.Adjust salt.
Boil to get a thick gravy. 
Now add milk and paneer cubes and boil for 3-4 minutes. Add ghee.
Garnish with chopped coriander and grated paneer.
