Mutton Ghugni ( Green peas & Mutton curry)

Ingredients required for Mutton Ghugni Recipe

500 gm Mutton / Mutton Keema ( Make very small pieces)
500 gm green peas (You can use fresh one or packaged peas)
2 big onion finely chopped
1 tomato chopped
1 tsp ginger paste
1 tsp garlic paste
1 ts jeera powder
1/2 tsp chili powder
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
Little garam masala powder
Pinch of sugar
Salt to taste

How to make Mutton Ghugni

Boil the green peas with  little salt in a pressure cooker.
Heat oil in a pan and add garam masala to hot oil.
Now add onions & turmeric powder. Stir properly.
Fry the onions still they turn brown.
Now add ginger paste, garlic paste, jeera powder & chopped tomatoes.
Add mutton pieces or mutton keema to that mixture.
Add red chili powder and mix them all together.
In a low flame cover the lid of that pan and cook the mutton.
Finally add the boiled peas to that and add little sugar.
Mix them together. It will be a thick gravy dish, so add water carefully.
If you feel mutton is not boiled properly, then put them in a pressure cooker for 2-3 whistle.
Spicy & juicy ghugni ready. Serve hot with pooris or parathas.
