I used to hate drumstick all my childhood. But it’s a favourite one of my husband. Gradually I started tasting this vegetable.  Today I will share a very easy yet one yummy recipe of drumstick. I learnt this from my friend Rosali Rani when I was in Hyderabad. When I first tasted this recipe of drumstick I fell in love with this.

What do you need to make Spicy Drumsticks

6-7 Drumsticks (cut in medium pieces)
1 big potato (cut into long pieces)
1 tomato (chopped)
1/2 tsp kalo jeere (Nigella seeds)
1/2 tsp Methi seeds
1 Dry chili
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1/2 tsp jeera powder
1/2 tsp Ginger paste
1/4 th tsp Red chilli powder
2 green chilies slit
Salt to taste
Pinch of sugar

How to make Spicy Drumsticks 

Pour little musturd oil in a pan & add the Dry chilli, kalo jeere, Methi one by one.
Let the aroma comes out of the spices.
Add the drumstick & potato pieces and stir them well with little salt.
Cook covered in medium flame & stir occasionally.
Now check whether the potatoes became soft.
You can add the chopped tomatoes now & cook for another few minutes.
Add all the spices & mix them well.
Stir for 1-2 minute & pour little water.
Adjust the salt & add pinch of sugar.
It will be a dry curry.
It tastes great with plain rice.
