Today I will share one of my best recipes…Methi Murgh or Chicken Recipe. Either it is a friends’ gathering or my son’s birthday party, it has always been a hit. So many people have asked me to share this recipe. The amazing flavor of methi leaves makes it a mouth drooling one.
1 kg Chicken Cut into Medium Pieces
Methi Leaves (Fenugreek leaves) 1 bunch
3 Medium Sized Onion
2 tbsp Ginger-garlic Paste
1 tbsp Cumin Powder
1 tbsp Coriander Powder
1 Medium Sized Tomato
1/3rd cup Card
6-7 Green Chillis
2-3 Raw Cinnamon
2-3 Raw Cardamom Sticks
2-3 Raw Cloves
4-5 Raw Black Pepper
Salt to Taste

How to prepare Methi Murgh Recipe
Wash the Chicken pieces properly & marinate them with mustard oil, salt & curd.
Keep it in the fridge at least for an hour.
Finely chop the onions.
Then from the bunch of methi leaves, pick the leaves in good health & wash them properly.
Now in a pan, pour little oil & saute the methi leaves for a minute.
Keep them aside.
Pour little more oil in the pan & one by one add Cinnamon, Cardamom, Cloves, Black Pepper & stire for a minute or two.
Now add the chopped onions & fry them covered for sometime in low flame.
After they get softened, increase the flame & fry them properly.
Now add the marinated chicken & mix them properly with the fried onions.
Add one chopped tomato.
Cook covered for 20 minutes & check whether they got softened.
Now add the fried methi leaves.
Now increase the flame & fry them properly.
Add little water as it will be a thick gravy.
Spread little ghee & cook covered for 5 minutes.
